Winner of the AHS Honorable Mention in 2008
DSP

DOUGLAS, 2004)

TETRAPLOID, 5 " BLOOM, DOR FOLIAGE, M-RE, 25" SCAPES
(STRAWBERRY PATCH X WISEST OF WIZARDS)

LIGHT CREAMY GOLD WITH SMALL GREEN THROAT AND LARGE EYE AND EDGE THAT IS A DIFFICULT COLOR TO DESCRIBE. IT IS A DARK PEACHY ORANGE BLEND. ALTHOUGH THE COLOR IS HARD TO DESCRIBE, THE COMBINATION IS PLEASING AND VERY DISTINCT. A NARROW GOLD OUTER RING ACCENTS THE BLISTERED AND BUBBLY EDGE. LOOSE AS A GOOSE OPENS BEAUTIFULLY IN THE EARLY MORNING (EMO) AND HOLDS ITS COLOR THROUGHOUT THE DAY. IT CONSISTENTLY BLOOMS 3 SETS OF SCAPES. GARDEN VISITORS ALWAYS PICKED THIS ONE OUT OF A CROWD. 18-20 BUDS. FERTILE BOTH WAYS. RECEIVED AN AHS HONORABLE MENTION IN 2008
