I think this daylily is so distinct with the sherbet orange veined eye with a rose pencil eye and matching ruffles. I have hybridized with it plenty and have never been able to get exactly the same look on that eye. Pale melon petals, raised pink midrib and yellow to green throat. Not the performer we are used to, but distinct enough to be my Guilty Pleasure
